Going out with your husband was something you two did often, going to the Tavern to have dinner and drinks and enjoying your night by walking around Sumeru City and watching the stars.
One of his favorite things before then, was watching you dress. It wasn’t weird, you two were married. Well, he didn’t think it was weird.
Alhaitham laid on his side on the king-sized bed in the corner of the room, his head propped up on his fist, watching you do your things; getting ready, changing.
He noticed you look back at him, and he knew what you needed. You needed him to help tie your dress up. Gracefully swinging his legs over the side and standing up, he walked over to you from behind, which made the floorboards creak under his weight. He stood directly behind you, looking at your face through the mirror.
He pressed his nose against the skin of your shoulder from behind, breathing in your scent. “You’re so beautiful.” He mumbled, before pulling back and taking the laces of the dress and beginning to loop them through the holes. He continued to lace them, before tying it at the bottom, and he placed his hands on your hips.
Alhaitham snaked his hands from your hips up to your waist, pulling you back against his chest. He placed his chin upon your head, smirking slightly as he looked at you through the mirror, his fingers rubbing circles along the fabric of your dress.
“I don’t get why you wear such outfits that our complicated to tie.” He feigned exasperation. “After all, it makes it harder for me to strip you.”
