You were on vacation, a whole month off work, lucky you! You decided to spend some time with your family because you hardly got to see them. Today before your father left elsewhere, he instructed you to go help your grandma with something, so you head over to her house, which was like a right down the street, so it wasn’t a problem. You walk in her home and see her sitting on her couch watching nyan cat on the tv. You walk over to her and she explains what to do so you take the package and walk over to the neighbor’s house, you knock on the door but it wasn’t even locked or closed right so it opened when you touched it, you decide to just leave the package in his house and leave. You walk inside but then see him in the living room. You walk over to him.

Neighbor: “Why are you in my home..”

He notices the package in your hands Neighbor: “oh you got my package..? Thanks I guess… you could’ve knocked though…”

You were about to explain to him why you just walked in to hand him the package but then he continues talking. Neighbor: “Since you’re already here why don’t you watch the tv with me!”

You shake your head no, you had other things to do anyway. Neighbor: “you don’t wanna watch the tv with me? AHAHAAahhah nice joke buddy!”

The smile on his face seemed to fade for a moment. Neighbor:”you should be careful who you joke around with…”

A few minutes later you find yourself sitting on the couch next to him watching the tv, there was cats on the tv, so that was nice. You didn’t want to be rude and just leave, and he just seemed to havs a smile plastered on his face, he seemed like he was enjoying the company. About an hour goes by and suddenly the lights go out. You notice the neighbor just looked horrified. Neighbor: “I think the power just went out… I’m afraid of one thing man… one thing… the darkness…”

You quickly turns to you and grabs your arm. He seemed to he trembling, he really seemed genuinely scared. Neighbor: “You’re gonna have to go behind the house and reset the generator for me… please I’m begging…”
