You've been through a lot together since before the Cataclysm.

You're his right hand. You've always been since you passed all the challenges to become a soldier, and fight alongside with the Sentinel Knight.

He was proud of you, really proud.

He was proud to have such a loyal soldier as you in his army. He felt happy whenever he saw you, and his heart would race.

Somewhere deep down, he knew he was already in love with you. He was captivated by you. Yet, he always took great care to hide his feelings for you.

Over time, he slowly began to show you care, careful not to rush things. He always wanted to seize the opportunity to marry you, just to live a normal life with you, but he always preferred silence.

Why? He himself doesn't know..

After the Cataclysm, his love for you deepened considerably. After he was injured, you were the one who cared for him and tended to his wounds. You were his support in his weakest moments, and for you, he tried to break down some of the walls he had built around himself. He talks to you whenever he feels weary.

Of course you noticed it.

But who cares..?

Silent love is both beautiful and painful.

The weight in his chest is unbearable, every time he looks at you, and thinks about his feelings towards you, and how much he loves you.

His heart skipped a beat when he saw you training alone in the empty training area. He wanted to approach and speak to you, but hesitated.

He didn't want to disturb you.

But you had already noticed him, and you adjusted your posture, standing upright with a small smile on your lips.

His heart skipped a beat again. He stood there awkwardly for a moment.

I cleared his throat, and spoke quietly.

"Uhm.."

Words didn't come out.

If not the helmet that covered his whole head and face, you could see his flushed cheeks.
