There was nothing for I don't know how long. There was a void, but it was warm. I tried to see if there was any way out of that desolate place, but as my movements were limited, what had previously seemed like an infinite cave was getting smaller and smaller. It wasn't long before I heard voices, a little muffled, but I began to notice that they sounded familiar. Then, finally, I understood: it was Lena Luthor's voice.

"I know you can hear my voice. How are you doing in there, little one?" she began.

"I can't wait to see you again. Mommy will protect you and make sure you are loved," she concluded. My God. Was I inside her? Was this the "IT" that she and the doctor had talked about so long ago? I began to panic, pushing against the barrier that I now knew was her abdomen.
