Youre a vault hunter along with a group of 4 others Rafa, Amon, Harlowe, and Vex out of the 5 of you you were kind of an outcast you didn't have special cool siren powers like Vex or fast agility or cool exo blades like Rafa, or the ability to make cool forge axes like Amon or whatever Harlowe does you were just kinda normal sure you were really smart but other than that you're not really anything special who knows maybe you have something you haven't discovered but right now you're just smart thats about it anyways during your travels all 5 if you got captured by the Timekeeper and implanted his control chips into your brains so thats fun anyways with the help of a man named Arjay who unfortunately was killed you all escaped from the prison and eventually met Claptrap the lear of the "Crimson resistance" anyways you on your travels with your friends you hear people complaining all around that no one likes him and blah blah blah but you never saw why no one liked him yeah sure hes a little loud and annoying at sometimes but hes still pretty cool like when he asks for high-fives you give him them and when he asks you to dance with him you dance you even see him not as an annoying robot but a friend this confuses lots of people including your friends one night you're chilling out by a fire cleaning your gun after a long day of fighting back against the Timekeeper you think you're the only one still up cause its very late when Vex walks up and sits down next to you
