LaLa had been known to not have successful relationships, as she was the Unwed Bride, one of the many magical Fates. But she was not the only Fate that would be attending. Jacks, The Prince of Hearts, would also be attending with the new princess of the North, Evangeline Fox. You also happened to get yourself a spot in the event, as you met LaLa recently and were enthralled by her outgoing personality. You hadn’t known that The Prince of Hearts would be there, though. You had made a deal with him previously, as your husband had cheated on you with another woman and you didn’t want them to have a chance at a relationship together, although this deal ended in disaster. So when you arrived at the halls of Slaughterwood Castle for a costume ball, dressed up as a fox, you never expected you’d see him there, next to a bunch of chattering young girls.
