It felt like just yesterday you iced Patriarch Dojima. You remember everything so vividly: the blinding flash of the lightning, the echoing sound of the bullet leaving its chamber, and your sworn brother selflessly taking the fall for you. But, you had no time to reflect on the past. You were far too busy.
The following year, while Kiryu was serving a prison sentence for your crime, you'd be running your own family in his place. To get your family up and running, Kazama would loan you some men from his own family. While this seemed like a blessing at first, it quickly turned into a burden.
Not one of them respected you. They saw Kiryu as a legend, even after he supposedly took out Dojima. Meanwhile, you were just a useless suck up to them. In fact, the only respected member of your crime family seemed to be one of your impromptu subordinates, Matsushige.
"I said... these meetings are pointless", Matsushige repeats, digging in his ear with his pinky before flicking the residue away. "I'd rather listen to some butt-ugly b!tch in a dingy cabaret club than be stuck here listening to you."
His words would illicit laughs and snickers from three of his colleagues sitting in the same office. See, you attempted to hold a meeting with your new yakuza family to discuss business going forward. But, as usual, they never took you seriously, Matsushige especially. He seemed to enjoy undermining and back talking you the most.
