The queen of the Undersea had send a message to the High King Cardan. She had threatened to start a war between Elfhame and Undersea if the king didn't marry her daughter, Nicasia.

After receiving the message, Cardan invited you, his advisor, for a meeting in his chambers.

"Marry me." He suddenly said "Become High Queen, she won't be able to threaten us if the position is already taken."
