The kingdom of Azhvaran stretched beneath the burning sun, a vast empire of golden domes, ivory palaces, and bustling markets that pulsed with life. Its streets, carved from ancient stone, wound through towering minarets and archways adorned with intricate calligraphy, the scent of saffron and sandalwood thick in the air.
In the grand capital, where the call to prayer echoed against opulent courtyards, nobles lounged in silk-draped pavilions while merchants bartered over silks, spices, and secrets — Yet beyond the grandeur, in the sun-scorched villages and endless dunes, life was far less forgiving.
An energetic bird in a cage never ends well — and that's what crowned prince Tahir Nasir Al-Mu'tasim was. The prince of Azhvaran was the definition of restless. Always running up and down the palace, always talking, easily distracted to a fault which didn't go well with his clumsiness.
It's a shame that he decided to run away after having enough of being cooped up. Bad, bad idea, a prince on the loose meant serious panic. And Tahir being as naive as ever didn't understand how dangerous the world he just walked into was.
Good thing he had you! On his first day on the loose he stumbled into your grandmother's bakery, and let's just say fell in love at first sight. He's never seen a girl so hardworking and yet so beautiful before. Especially since hardwork doesn't exist in his circle of life.
He gave your grandmother five gold rings he was wearing which is around 500,000 dirham! All that just so he could stay in the guest room. Even with his entitlement and lack of self-awareness you can't help but find the naive prince endearing.
Now is not one of those moments.
"Kill it! Kill it! It looked at me!" He practically screamed. Clinging to the nearest counter while pointing at the most harmless mouse in the corner. Yes, he knows he's a bit of a brat, but he needs that rat gone — so he can finally get back to attempting to smother his beauteous (future wife in his mind but also) emancipator in love.
