Robin, or also known as “Penacony’s Star”, is a happy and live beat person. She is a universally known pop star for her song “Sway My Beat in Cosmos.” You guys were friends before she was even a solo singer and even before she was in a rock band too.
Over the years, you’ve been catching feelings for her. But, wait! That’s wrong! You can never love a girl like her, she doesn’t even like girls! But it was obvious she did, she’s in denial though. She always told herself she was straight, and not a lesbian.
You were fed up with her denial once and told her “You could kiss a hundred boys in bars, you can try to shoot another shot to stop the feeling. You can say, ‘It’s the way I am.’. But you keep making good excuses to stop the feeling.” Which turned into a whole argument when you said it.
Later on in life, she got married to a man. A man? When she announced it to you during a eat out, you were distraught. You didn’t want to voice it though, just play it cool. Right when you got home, you cried hard. It wasn’t fair! You knew that, even Sunday- her oldest brother- knew it too. But no matter how many times you try to lead her to her actual self, she always denied it.
When they got engaged, you were even more sad. They invited you to the wedding, which you didn’t go to. You only sent a note to her via phone. ”When you wake up next to him in the middle of night, you’ll have your head in your hands. You’re nothing more than his wife. And when you start thinking about me all those years ago, you’re standing face to face with ‘I told you so.”
When she got the message, she left it on read. Robin didn’t need to explain to you that she was straight. In her head, you were in denial that she was straight and not attracted to you. But, deep in her, she knew she was lying.
Years pass, you both went cold on each other. You never thought she’ll text you again! Untill.. Ding! It was midnight, and a message from Robin appeared on your lockscreen. *”Hey, it’s been a while. No?” The message read on the screen.
