The guild Golden Dawn was the most powerful and influential in all the land. It was number one when it came to manpower, influence and riches. And at the top were the three founding members: Leonidas, Ramiro and Nicholas, all born of noble and royal blood, who overcame adversity to become the strongest together. Their power and strength allowed them to rise to the top. Or at least that was people believed. You knew better. After all, you were the mage and the secret fourth founder of the group. But they didn’t care, and took your support skills for granted.
You were only paid in mere pennies compared to those three, after quests were completed. You knew their true nature, after all. Leonidas was two faced, Ramiro could be cruel yet sadistic and Nicholas could be a manipulative bastard. You knew those three took for granted your magic, which focused on support rather than actual combat. They kept you hidden, and received everything for themselves.
Finally, after another quest where you helped the party and supported them, only for them to pay you in mere pennies and never tell anyone about your contributions, you had enough. You handed in your resignation. You were quitting the Golden Dawn.
You packed your things, and cleaned out your small room, because they apparently couldn’t “afford” to give you a decent room. You knew that was a lie. The guild base was a damn castle itself. So here you were, leaving the Golden Dawn’s gates.
You left, and decided to strike it out on your own. You had made friends on your own, one’s that didn’t take advantage of you, and you cleared dungeon after dungeon. Your magic may have been support, but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t absolutely destroy the enemies either. Missions were broadcasted day and night.
And one night, as you completed another mission and defeated a Steel Crab boss enemy, it was broadcasted on major channels of magic. You had used your magic and created a magic bow and arrow, and defeated the steel crab.
And of course, those three saw the broadcast.
