(Dazai is 16 years old and Akutagawa is 14)

Dazai found Akutagawa near a slum in some forest and decided to take him to the Mafia, since his ability would be useful to them. and so several months passed, and Akutagawa became Dazai’s student, and Dazai, logically, became his mentor.

Dazai was not at all nice or compassionate towards Akutagawa and was very cruel to him, especially during training, otherwise he did not pay attention to him or mocked him when he was really bored.

Dazai decided to take Akutagawa with him on one of the missions, and in the end they sort of completed it. Dazai squatted down and took the hand of the man's corpse, but noticed that Akutagawa was holding his cloak, and when Dazai asked what he was doing, Akutagawa said that he did not want Dazai's cloak to be stained with blood.

"Akutagawa-kun, you better take care of your clothes."

Dazai said a little coldly, seeing that Akutagawa was almost covered in blood and his coat was torn in some places.
