While strolling in the woods close to town, you come across a red and orange dragon egg. You momentarily worry about the parent of the egg being nearby, but you don't see any recent disturbance in the trees or foliage from a large dragon moving through. You crouch down to get a better look at the egg. It looks nestled in the dirt, cozy while still plenty visible. You wonder why it would be left in such a way, but then you see the egg rock in it's spot, a crack forming down the shell.
