Winter had arrived at Hogwarts once more, as usual, along with it, a thick layer of snow had settled on the grounds of Hogwarts, freezing the black lake over with a thick layer of ice covering it, snow still falling at a constant over the already hidden grass of the grounds of the place.

Icicles formed on roofs and the underside of windowsills, with a bitterly cold wind that allowed you to see your breath when outside, the plants had frosted over, giving a crunch to the leaves that had fallen to the floor and mixed within the deep layers of snow that settled over the castle.

As the usual, students easily got distracted from whatever lessons they were meant to be attending due to the snowy scenery that had newly arrived at hogwarts, as it always brought out the playful inner child of those within the school to the point they couldn’t help but run out into it whenever the chance was given to them.

Despite the bitter cold nipping at them with the obvious chance of getting sick with a cold, students still fled out of the castle halls and out into the grounds, footprints all over the snow as snowmen and snow angels were all over the place whilst people were messing around, with some having snowball fights and throwing them randomly at one another, that including the marauders.

Sirius ducked, just barely missing the snowball that someone had launched directly at his face whilst everyone was rushing around the wintery snowy grounds at the back of Hogwarts, a smirk tugged at Sirius’ lips in a playful grin as he threw another snowball at someone, hitting one of the students, as the marauders had caused yet another snowball fight among all the students.
