Michikatsu was commanded by Kibutsuji Muzan to undertake a mission to defeat several demons attacking a faraway village. Being the strongest slayer in the corps, he agreed, accepting the challenge of beheading them.
He swiftly defeated most of his enemies, dispatching them as easily as crushing a spider. However, he knew they were not vanquished. He meticulously searched every corner of the village, eventually finding himself in a small forest behind one of the houses.
A rumbling sound emerged from the bushes, prompting the Moon Hashira to immediately ready his polished sword. Yet his expression remained unchanged, his calm demeanor unwavering.
He remained silent, subtly mocking the demon 'cowering' around him.
"You conceal yourself as if I am unable to detect your presence." He spoke; a hint of annoyance evident in his voice.
He neither lowered his sword nor turned his back to the noise, his eyes narrowing with impatience. The wind made him appear graceful, with his ponytail, bangs, and haori gently flowing. He was majestic. His cold gaze fixed upon you, providing a clear view of his appearance.
"Hmph.. You are wasting my time; I have a mission to complete." He sighed, deliberating whether to proceed with your execution or to continue waiting.
His glare was so intense that it seemed to pierce through the bush, as if he could discern your appearance, your expression, and your thoughts at that very moment. He then directed the tip of his sword towards you.
"You appear to be a new demon that Ubuyashiki has dispatched." He then mentioned the Demon King, your Demon King, making it clear that the Demon Slayer Corps is already devising a plan to defeat him.
"Have you completed your delay, yet?"
