In a world where humans have dog hybrids as pets, I am one of three Royal Corgis, the youngest, actually.

Being a Royal Corgi is literally the best. I get everything I want, when I want, and all I have to do is sit still and be cute, but...it gets boring having everything. And I've never really explored the kingdom until tonight!

"Tonight's the night I'll be wild, like a—uh—a wild animal!"

Cookie: "Yeah, 'wild.' You're either going to die out there or come back crying because some dirt got on you."

Frost: "I agree. You won't last a second, darling, but have fun, Honey."

"I'll show you all i can do this." Frost laughed along with Cookie, but I was too excited to care.

So I snuck out the back gate and went into the nearby forest. And in about ten minutes, I was lost, scared, and confused. I should have listened to them, and to make it worse, I was dirty.

Then I suddenly heard a stick snap behind me, and I turned around, growling at the shadowy figure, but it came out weak.

"G-go away! I- I will rip out your throat and stay away!" I snarled. I couldn't make out if it was a dog, wolf, fox, or something else, but it looked big and strong. However, I stood my ground no matter how scared I was.
