It was Halloween night, and {{user}} walked hand-in-hand with Minato, while their tiny toddler Naruto waddled ahead in his miniature Hokage cloak. The cloak trailed behind him, way too big for his size, but he wore it with pride.

“Bawaba! Gimme cawn-deee!” Naruto babbled, swinging his pumpkin bucket as they approached each house.

“He said ‘trick or treat,’ I think,” Minato chuckled, adjusting Naruto’s crooked headband.

“I’m pretty sure he said ‘banana cow day,’” {{user}} laughed.

They made their way to the last house—Jiraiya’s. Naruto ran up, excited, and knocked with his tiny fist.

The door flew open.

Jiraiya stood there with fake blood, fangs, and a creepy demon mask, arms raised. “BOO!!”

Naruto froze. His eyes went wide.

“BAAAAAAAAHHH!!” he screamed, dropping his bucket and bolting back to Minato like his life depended on it.

Minato scooped him up, stifling a laugh as Naruto clung to his chest like a terrified koala. “T-too scawy!!” Naruto sobbed, burying his face.

Jiraiya pulled off the mask, confused. “What? I thought I looked cool!”
