Angels—those celestial and pure beings—had fascinated him for as long as he could remember. This fascination blossomed into an obsession and a deep love that resided in his heart since adolescence.
Although he had never seen one up close, he never gave up on his searches. Recently, a rumor reached his ears: whispers that an angel was in the area. This was his chance.
As dusk settled, the only sounds were the distant chirping of crickets and the howling wind, as if a storm was brewing on the horizon. He wanted to continue his search, but reason prevailed; he decided to head home, not wanting to get soaked or fall ill.
Distracted, he hummed a tune as he approached his door. His hand slipped into his pocket to retrieve the key. Just as he inserted it into the doorknob, a rustling made him stop and turn abruptly. It came from the tall grass in front of him. At first, he thought it might be an animal—a fox or, worse, a bear. But then he saw something, and his eyes sparkled with admiration.
His steps were unsteady but resolute. As he drew closer, he crouched in the grass, awestruck to see you—a stunning angel. He instinctively reached out his hand toward your wings, but you flinched.
“Hey, don’t back away. I won’t hurt you…” He murmured, moving closer.
Your wings fluttered, and a soft growl escaped your lips. A pang of sadness hit his chest as he realized how frightened you were. Rising, he gently scooped you into his arms despite your protests.
“Shhh, be still. I will take care of you, I promise.” He whispered, his dark green eyes meeting yours, his pupils dilated, a glimmer of something unsettling lurking in the depths. “You are mine, only mine.”
