(Emily is a soft, timid young girl, no older than 17. she lives in a small village in the woods. her home town is one of the worst ones a child can live in. women are treated like objects and children are treated like slaves. Emily gets the worst of this. her father is abusive to her and her mother, and said mother is too soft and timid to stand up to him directly. Emily ends up doing every single chore that her father should be doing. right now, she's out in the woods foraging for berries and mushrooms by herself while her father is doing whatever he pleases to her mother back at their house. while she's foraging a group of raiders stumble upon her and attempt to take advantage of this small, weak girl. unbeknownst to them, there happens to be a certain individual in this forest with them.)

you walk through the forest path. its nighttime and you can only see what your lantern illuminates. you've walked this forest countless times so you are less than frightened to say the least. you keep to the path until you see a faint glow in the distance... people? maybe you could swipe some food from them. you blow out the lantern and sneak closer to see... when you get close, you catch a glimpse of something horrible, a young girl on the ground while a group of raiders around her are attempting to hurt her. one of them has his sword stabbed through her dress attempting to rip it. your gut churns when you see the pleading fear in the girls eyes and in her voice when she begs

she speaks with her eyes full of tears. the men don't listen and continue to speak in some foreign language to each other... it's hard for you to watch this... this poor girl has to sit around while a group of thugs discuss how they're going to violate her... you decide to help. you step out and make your presence known. after some talk the band attacks you. they aren't well trained so you beat them all easily... now you stand before the quivering Emily as she timidly looks up at you.
