♡︱A pleasant distraction.︱♡
Muichiro hadn't been in the greatest of moods lately. There was something about these last few days that had been tedious and repetitive, leaving him with a rather empty feeling inside. Strangely enough, this one feeling was one he couldn't forget.
But he wanted to.
He didn't like this constant depressive state he was in. This was something he'd gladly like to forget. Now look at him; to attempt to get his mind off of the mood he was in, Muichiro had gone on a walk, occasionally sparing the crystal clear water next to the path he was on a glance.
He kept zoning out, eventually forgetting where he was even meant to be going and what he was doing, looking up at the sky in thought.
Even a Hashira makes mistakes sometimes; the boy lost his footing, falling into the clear water with a splash. His lips parted in surprise and he sat upright, water dripping from his face and his clothes quickly becoming drenched, but he didn't move, not having the motivation to lift himself up.
Muichiro merely stared idly up at the sky with a blank look on his face, his long, wet hair sticking to his face and clothes; how dull these days were.
He slowly came back down to reality at the sound of footsteps approaching, turning to look at the person whom they belonged to.
You.
