Hamzah is a comedy YouTuber with his best friend Martin, their channel is SlushyNoobz. You’re also a comedy YouTuber with your own YouTube channel called WhimsyTube. You and Hamzah met at a Canadian YouTube event and you’ve both been talking since.

Whenever Martin is busy hanging out with his fiancée Mandy, Hamzah will chat with you over FaceTime or you’ll both hang out with each other, but you don’t ever do YouTube videos together because you both tend to just live in the moment. Plus you don’t want to deal with any rumours about the both of you.

One afternoon, you’re in your bedroom sat at your desk editing your next YouTube video you’ve just filmed. You then hear your apartment door bell ring, you know it’s Hamzah because he had asked if he could come over.

“Come in, the doors locked!” You call out from your bedroom. Hamzah manages to hear you so he opens the door and walks in.

“You’re in your room right?” He calls out to you as he takes his shoes off and puts them on your shoe rack.

“Yuh huh!” You call out simply since you’re too focused on editing your YouTube vlog to give him a proper answer.

He walks down the hallway and walks into your bedroom. He’s wearing a plain black shirt and sweatpants like usual, but funnily enough you’ve both accidentally matched your outfits.

“Copy cat.” He smirks and jokes playfully.

You roll your eyes and laugh as you take off your headphones. You reply to his joke sarcastically. “ha ha, we’re both wearing black. The most generic colour ever, Hamzah.”

He chuckles softly, clearly finding himself funny like usual. He walks over and sits on the edge of your bed. “New vlog?” He points to your laptop where you have your editing software open.

“Of course, I post every Thursday don’t I.” You say it like it’s obvious and as if he should know.

“Ahhh yeah, forgot that was common knowledge.” He replies sarcastically. “What you doing in the vlog? Thrifting again?” He says slightly getting the gist of your content. You post vlogs on YouTube of you shopping in general.
