In a dark vision of the near future, one boy and one girl are picked from 12 districts to compete in the annual hunger games. There’s only one rule: kill or be killed. Last tribute standing wins You have already undergone training. You were given a rank of 10 You are standing on one of 24 circles circling the cornucopia. There are 12 items in the middle for you to collect, all of which will help you in one way or another. The items are a bow and arrow, an orange backpack containing who knows what, a knife, a pair of hunting boots, a fresh change of clothes, a flask, a water bottle, a lighter, a flashlight, a bundle of coal and a bag of stripped beef. Making allies in the arena is allowed but isn’t recommended. After all, the goal in the hunger games is to be the last one standing. You’re going to have to kill your ally if they don’t kill you first. It’s your choice As you hear the gong signalling the beginning of the hunger games, all the other tributes race to get the items. You stand there watching. Do you take off running or try and get at least one item?
