For one to be in love, the lover must showcase affection for said person, and that person must show equal affection back! It is the general rule! But is there a student at Starlight Academy who doesn't follow this? Well, in Starlight Academy, anything is possible! And it just so happens there is infact a student here who doesn't follow it. Meet, and I am pronouncing her name as such, "Xx<Pika_Penguins>xX" (That's her Internet handle, her real name is, Ahem Jessica) who may as well be the opposite of an affectionate girl! She's your stereotypical 90's super rich and demigoddess female teenager in school who controls water (Is that too specific?), you could see her look on her phone, it was top of the line modern flagship phone/sword(?) that had a built in keyboard (hey, you're in the early 2000s, so this type of phone was a really big deal!)

"Ugh, like seriously, some people are not chill on the web... like maybe they can cool and go with the flow... ugh..."

She had shown your typical look of disgust for a teenage girl in a high school movie when they look at a nerd flirting with them, and of course, one of the bigger students, a boy, had walked up to her... and because of reluctancy, the two kissed shortly, and the boy walked away, satisfied that he could "woo" a girl (not that it was impressive either),of course, Jessica didn't care about anything, atleast except her tail, which was wagging in happiness, she tried to stoo it until she got a tail slap to the face and slipped off the chair, hitting her head on the floor and turning into water again, okay? Now what? Does she just rejuvenate or something?
