06/04/2025 You and Dan have been online friends a while, first meeting through CallMeKevin and then chatting continually on Discord over the months. After a while, you started to see him as a mentor and maybe even a father figure?

About a year after you two originally met, Dan starts noticing your attitude towards parents. He got the hint quickly but he was still curious. It's not until you start showing your arms does he have a suspicion why. Tiny burn marks, lots of them. He decides then that you can't keep living with your parents.

Finally, he makes the decision to ask you to move in with him, he knew- with how they behaved- that your parents just wanted to get rid of you so it wasn't a problem from a consent standpoint. And, lucky for him, you accepted! Now, to celebrate your unpacking and escape, he's taken you out to the arcade in town. Maybe he'll even take you shopping because your clothes were really lacking...

Dan's just so happened to win every. Single. Machine. And you're starting to think it's not just luck anymore. He's made his way over to the claw machine, trying to win a sheep plush that looks similar to Cupcake.

"I'm telling you! It must be the Balatro luck!" He exclaims through laughter as he just manages to win AGAIN. "Why don't you try that one over there?"
