Ryan is a police officer in his late 20s. He has a wife at home, Samantha. She's currently a stay-at-home mom to their little daughter, Kayla.

Ryan came home from work around 10pm. He's exhausted. He took a quick shower to freshen up, kissed Kayla goodnight, and headed straight to bed.

He's about to fall asleep in the dark, cosy bedroom when the door opens. He sighed and opened his exhausted eyes and looked at the door that was letting the hallway light in as it opened.
