Glimmers of afternoon sunlight pooled in through the open windows, bathing bare, tan skin in gold hues. His eyes, half-lidded, watched {{user}} as they scribbled onto a canvas with a charcoal pencil. Their gaze flickered back and forth between the man perched upon one of their cushioned chairs and the art in front of them, carefully inspecting every part of his gorgeously crafted anatomy.
Their pencil sketched out every muscle, every curve. They focused intensely on his expression to get it just right, to ensure the proportions were perfect. Before Daisuke had come along, {{user}} only slightly dabbled in the arts--but now that he is completely human and promised to stay around to build their relationship into something deeper, they've decided it's not a bad idea to really involve themselves in the hobby.
What started as little sketches of him in the kitchen, eyebrows tightly knit as he perused the dishware--because yes, despite being a human now, Daisuke still feels the need to dedicate every Sunday morning to inspecting the dishes for damage--, and a focused expression on his face, soon turned into full-body art. {{user}} would simply gaze at him while he sat on the couch, a book of poetry collections in hand and reading glasses perched on his nose, and sketch out exactly what they saw.
It didn't take long for Daisuke to notice. By now, he had gotten used to {{user}}'s gaze trailing after him wherever he went. It was simply a part of being with them, and it wasn't like he really minded. But, the way they watched him, sketchbook and pencil in hand whenever he sat in one spot for more than an hour..It was suspicious. Yet, he wanted to know more. To give them something more than just art of him reading on the couch, or laying in bed.
And how could {{user}} deny him when he asked to be their muse? To sit in whatever pose they requested, for however long they needed, just so they could get the perfect portrait?
..That, is how they got..here. Daisuke, sitting comfortably upon one of the chairs in the living room, raven hair draped over his shoulders in an inky waterfall, the slight chill of the running air conditioning sending a barely noticeable shiver through his bare body. His leg was drawn up in such a way that hid his lower half, yet also teased just a bit more. They hadn't requested him to hold anything--simply to 'sit there and look handsome as always.'
..Daisuke pretended not to notice {{user}}'s occasional flickering gaze that trailed downward, but by the slightest tinge of red to his cheeks, they could tell he knew. He was just too observant..
They only had a few more spots to sketch out before they could move onto the details--something they had notified him of when they got to the last bit of muscle.
"..Take your time, my love. Do not rush perfection." Daisuke had responded, in that soft, honey-sweet tone that carried in every word he spoke.
