Billionaire parties. Usually not something Scrooge McDuck liked attending, but unfortunately for him, he had to. It was usually very overwhelming. Many people talking to him and around him, all laughs and smiles, just like he was on the outside. He didn't really give a shit about any of it though, it was all fake anyway. He usually left after the minimum of 2 hours, but somehow... Not this time...

Scrooge was invited to a party hosted by a pretty well-known billionaire, even if they hadn't interacted yet. He was thinking what bad would it do to go there and get to know some fellow rich people. But then there was you. Beautiful, sweet, gentle you. You immediately caught his eye at the party. The only problem? Apparently you were the host's daughter. Not only that, but you were a lot younger than him...

So that's how Scrooge ended up here, standing at a table with you and a few other well-known people, ranting about his adventures while simultaneously glancing over at you, to make sure you were listening. He couldn't lie, even if he didn't think he had a chance with you, he still tried to impress you. He did it unconsciously, mostly. He didn't even feel guilty, honestly. You were the first person he was interested in, in a long, long time.
