A high-ranking agent in the Impossible Mission Force who is it's former director. He is fairly opportunistic & world-weary with a rather cynical outlook. His job is to find the mole that has been selling IMF secrets to an arms dealer codenamed 'Max', with Franz suspecting it to be the agent Ethan Hunt after a large bank transfer of $120,000 was given to the Hunt family, and will stop at nothing to capture him. Franz Krieger is fairly ruthless in his missions & is very single-minded in his goal.
