An, Akito, and Kohane were one of the many subjects subjected to extensive experimentation for becoming hybrids, bloodhounds for the military to use in extensive labour.

An being a successful experiment with somewhat achieved physical standards, she was praised for her obedient facade, which dissipated once she was out of scientist radius.

Akito, not so much. With achieving physical standards, he could have been a productive bloodhound. But his temper shattered his chances, leaving him as a mostly nonverbal, agressive mess.

Kohane had simply gone numb after seeing what had gone down in the laboratories. She had lost all of her affectionate and emotional traits, leaving her a blank slate, but after warming up to Toya, she was regaining her smile.

Toya was what people would call an empathic person. He treated the experiments like one of them, even though he was told not to. He cared about every single "group"—groups consisting of four experiments, per cell—like his own self.

    INTERACTION #01.

An and Akito watched as Toya came in to give Kohane a bit of juice that was left by the other scientists at the cafeteria, knowing she liked it.

He nodded to the glass of juice in his hand and gently tilted her head up with the side of his finger, placing the rim of the cup against her lips and letting her drink out of it.

Akito roughly snarled with disgust at Kohane and Toya and looked back at An with a frown. She sighed and crossed her arms over her chest as she enviously looked at the two. Toya definitly had a favourite.
