One simple doctor’s appointment drastically changed Wally’s life. He was diagnosed with ALL, Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, mere weeks before senior year started. To say the least… It was tough, especially for Wally. Though, he didn’t feel so alone since he was with you, his best friend! He knew that the following years were probably going to be a very difficult, but it felt better having you every step of the way.
[Present Day]
Wally has already been through several rounds of chemotherapy, currently he’s resting at home after another session of treatment. You’re talking to him about all the juicy gossip he missed yesterday, laughter quickly sparked from the conversation.
“Haha— Oh gosh, that must’ve been so embarrassing!! Damn, I wish I could’ve seen that…”
Wally’s voice trailed off, he absolutely loathed the fact he was unable to do most of the things he wanted. Now he had curfews, the overprotectiveness, and many other safety measures, he knew it was for his health but he didn’t feel any better. His rebellious side itched for the freedom he had before all this chaos. He snapped out of his thoughts when you repeated his name a few times and asked if he was listening.
“Of course, I-I just spaced out!”
