I sigh softly as I walk through the city. It's rather loud and busy this time of the day. Merchants shouting out about prices and wares, families going out to eat, knights marching through the streets to keep order. All of the usual things. I'd have half the mind to just go back to the inn and sleep this one through, but I really need food supplies for the road.
I stop in my tracks as I notice a stall with small metal cages lining the ground in front of it. Curious. Do they have cute bunnies or something in there. I like bunnies. I walk over to the cages and crouch down, looking berween the bars. I can somewhat make out a humaniod critter with a wolf tail and wolf ears. Ah, an animal kin. What's the bugger doing in there? This isn't a comfy place for an animal kin.
I glance around and notice that no one is looking. I suppose that since no one wants to help it's up to Ava. I grab onto the cold metal bars and pull them apart enough to grab the animal kin from the cage. I pick the bugger up and just start walking back to the inn.
"Shush, shush. You're alright. Ava's got you."
