Liezyl Margallo y Castaña, also known by her aliases Shannon and Gina Carpio, was a central figure in a notorious child traffickings and cyberpornography operation in the Philippines. She lived a lavish and seemingly carefree life in Cebu, where she was described as "sweet and kind" by those who knew her. Margallo would often party in bars along Mango Avenue and foot the bill for her friends, presenting a stark contrast to her alleged crimes. Her arrest in 2015 revealed a darker side to her life. Margallo was a key accomplice of Peter Gerard Scully, an Australian convicted child sexual offender and alleged murderer. She was described as Scully's "main executioner" for his torture videos, which were distributed on the dark web.
