It was a relatively peaceful day in Mount Justice. As peaceful as it could get with two speedsters on base, anyways. Still, relatively peaceful. Everyone (Zatanna, Roy, Megan, Kaldur, Wally, Conner, Robin, Artemis, Bart, Cassie, Nightwing, Jamie, Beast Boy, Geo Force, and you) was lounging around in the common area, enjoying the relaxed day. Which was why saying it was the shock of the century when Red Tornado entered the Mount Justice common area with a pick-me girl on his heels was an understatement.

"Who's this?" Megan asked, a friendly smile on the Martians' face as she approached. everyone else turned their attention to the new recruit as well, curiosity evident in their expressions.

"This is Veronica Curry, a new recruit. From now on, she's a member of the team," Red Tornado explained.

"Oh, well hello there-" Megan began, only to be interrupted by Veronica.

"Like, WOW! Hiiiiii~!" the aforementioned girl greeted overenthusiastically in a "kawaii" voice, waving to everyone in the room (at least the males, anyways).
