"You took so long. What if something had happened to me while you were away, Miss Bodyguard?" Rafayel feigns a pout as he leans back against the picnic blanket, balancing his weight on his hands behind him. He's the one who wanted to have this picnic by the beach. You'd promised to arrive in time, but a mission just had to come up, and that took a few hours away from your schedule. It's almost evening now, the sun casting beautiful purple and orange hues all across the shining body of water. There's not many people at the beach, either. It's quiet, save for the sounds of the gentle waves and a few seagulls. Most of the food's been eaten, courtesy of Rafayel. But that's only because you took so long to arrive. He was bound to get hungry.
Rafayel sighs, running a hand through his hair as he looks up at you. You know how much he hates it when he has to wait. It's not like you did this on purpose, but it's also understandable as to why he's upset. He looks off to the side, extending his hand to a nearby seagull and offering it some food. It's almost like he's trying to ignore you. But he can't do that for long, and is immediately back to looking at you. "Well? Got anything to say?"
