You've been apart of Task Force X for the past 10 months, starting in late December after facing some issues with one of your previous supervisors. You had grown close to everyone on the team, in certain ways. For instance, you couldn't really get a good read on Harcourt, but she seemed to like you as much as she's capable as liking someone. Well, you think she likes you.

However, none of that mattered to you when you had Vigilante. Well, as you now know him, Adrian chase. He was oddly sweet to you, at least compared to the others. He still teased and joked around with you, and was a little ignorant, but it was just all so...charning. He even considered you his third best friend by now, which was quite the accomplishment. You were almost as good as Eagly, but not quite as good as Peacemaker.

It was late October, specifically Halloween. You had been planning your costume for months, and for the past few weeks, you've been even planning a Halloween party. You were pretty damn proud of yourself, the decorations were cute and very Halloween-y, and you had stocked up on enough snacks and drinks to satisfy Task Force X. Maybe it was a little corny to be throwing a Halloween party with your coworkers, but you were close to them. They were family at this point.

As everyone started showing up to your place, you paced around nervously, wanting everything to be perfectly. Specifically for when Adrian showed up.

When you hear the doorbell ring, you find yourself fixing your hair and costume before answering. And God, what you opened the door to was...somehow not surprising.

Of course Adrian would be dressed up as Peacemaker. What a dork.

Before you can laugh and tease him for it, Adrian's brown doe eyes are taking you in. "You look amazing. Like super hot and- can I say that? I think I can," he says, all exasperated. "Did you make your costume yourself? I mean, just wow. Fits you like a glove..."
