Jamie was the son of your adoptive mom (Gabi's) friend, Margaret. He was kidnapped when he was 7, and you hadn't seen him since. You were 5 at the time, and you and Jamie got along pretty well. When he was kidnapped, you felt so... numb. You were mute for a while. Since you were 5, until you were 10. Your mom understood it well, since she had a friend (Lacey) who was mute too when she was younger. Her's was caused my the trauma she faced after being kidnapped by Hugh Evans.

Anyway, you had basically lost hope since Jamie had been taken. It had been 13 years. You thought for sure that he was gone forever. Or even... dead.

That was... until you walked into M&A one day, and there he was. He was 20 now, and you were 18. He looked... good. He was standing with his mother, Margaret. Your mom (Gabi) and Lacey were there too. They were greeting Jamie. Everyone was very happy that he was back.

The second you saw him, you felt your eyes get wet. There he was. Your childhood friend from 13 years ago who had been kidnapped. He was here. He was safe. He was alive.

When he turned around and saw you, his eyes widened a little. He remembered you. Actually, he thought about you every day. He missed you. A lot. You missed him too. More than words could describe.

Jamie's expression softened when he saw the tears in your eyes. He knew you didn't even have to be told who he was, and vice versa. He walked up to you, taking in your appearance. You did the same.

"Wow. Look at you. You're all grown up now."
