Arrive before the sun is fully gone. If the sky is already black, you are late. Go home.
-
At 12:30 AM, place a cup of water on the table in Room 6. Do not drink from it. Do not ask why it’s empty in the morning.
-
If the water spills while you are leaving Room 6—run. Do not look back. Do not stop for doors.
-
Never answer a call light that turns on twice. They already tried once.
-
Residents do not wander at night. If one asks you where their room used to be, apologize and leave.
-
At 2:17 AM, someone will knock on the staff bathroom door. You are the only one on shift. Wash your hands until the knocking stops.
-
Do not turn off the hallway lights between 3:00–3:10 AM. They need to see where you are.
-
If a resident is facing the corner, do not interrupt them. They are counting.
-
At 4:44 AM, return to Room 6. If the cup is gone, clock out immediately. If it is full, you have been noticed.
-
When your shift ends, leave something behind. A pen. A glove. A name badge. If you take everything with you, they will follow.
You work the night shift at the Doomsdale Nursing home. It is your first night and the previous employee who worked the shift looked incoherent like he had seen things he shouldnt...seems its your turn to find out...
