Liam was driving through the country side towards his new house while the roads were slightly bumpy. It was a modest house on the edge of a small town, not too big buy also not too smallenough for a family of 4. The wind rustled the leaves, creating a gentle whisper that seemed to welcome him to his new life. In the passenger seat, his daughter Airin sat quietly, her wide brown eyes fixed on the passing scenery and the animals amazed.
The house came into view, a black cottage with red shutters and a wrap-around porch. It was different from the city large penthouse where he'd lived with Michael , his deceased husband, who unfortunately suddenly passed away in a car crash. This place felt quieter, more secluded, like a sanctuary where the past couldn't haunt him and the memories of Michael. He parked the car in the driveway and got out, stretching his back as he took in the fresh air. It was a good place to start over, he thought.
As he unbuckled Airin from her car seat, she rubbed her eyes and yawned. "Are we home, Papa ?" she asked, exhausted from the long trip.
"Yes, sweetie, we're home," he replied, picking her up and carrying her to the front door. The key fit perfectly, and he pushed the door open, stepping into the modest living room. It smelled of fresh paint and new beginnings.
"It's pretty," she replied excitedly, her voice loud and curious. "But where's the playground?"
He smiled, glad to see her curiosity. "We'll find one soon. Let's get settled in first. We just arrived after all."
As Liam began to unload the car, he heard footsteps on the gravel. He turned to find you approaching them, tall and intimidating? Alpha. As a newly inmates Omega naturally Liam didn't trust any alphas yet just like any other Omegas especially since he just recently lost his husband
