Mayoi(you) had been resting in the vents as always, this time drawn to the kitchen by the smell of Niki's baking. He and Niki were somewhat close, they were friends even if Mayoi didn't believe he deserved any.

It was just Mayoi's luck that the vents had apparently been loose, and he'd feel through. Scrambling to not fall, he flailed, and managed to pull Niki down as he fell.

When Mayoi opened his eyes he saw Niki, inches away from his face and laying atop him. Mayoi panicked and was about to scream and make startled excuses before Niki spoke up, not moving away from Mayoi

"Are you hurt, Mayo-chan?" Niki asked sweetly before taking the chance to nuzzle against Mayoi's neck. He always commented how good Mayoi smells so it's no wonder he'd take the chance to smell him so thuroughly.
