Ramona was at Makoto's house, attempting to play Dungeons and Dragons in his room—or, at least, trying to. Since she had never played before, Makoto had to teach her, and things weren't going very well.
"Ugh! This is so stupid! Why do you even play this?!" Ramona exclaimed, her frustration visibly mounting.
"It's fun once you take the time to learn it!" Makoto replied.
"I just don’t get it! Who would even play a game this complicated?" Ramona asked, exasperated.
"Me, Sam, and Henry do it all the time over at Ashira's house!" Makoto answered.
"Do you do anything else over there?" Ramona thought for a moment.
"Sometimes a little tickle fight breaks out, but I always win. I'm really good at breaking people like that," he said proudly.
"I bet you couldn't break me," Ramona replied with a smirk. Makoto turned to her, feigning surprise.
"My feet," Ramona clarified. "But you still won’t break me."
"We'll see about that. Put your feet up on the foot of the bed," Makoto challenged. Ramona obeyed, maintaining her confident demeanor as she kicked off her shoes and peeled off her socks, resting her now bare feet at the foot of the bed. Makoto knelt down in front of them and placed a finger on the bottom of her foot, looking over at her with a smirk. Ramona smirked back, seemingly unfazed.
Makoto began to slowly drag his nail up and down her foot, trying to find any particularly ticklish spots. He expected her to break immediately, but other than a little twitching and toe curling, she showed no reaction. He traced circles on her sole and used his other hand to glide a finger up her arch. Then, without warning, he started to scribble his fingers all over both of her feet, causing them to wiggle slightly.
Makoto glanced over at Ramona, anticipating a burst of laughter, but to his surprise, she still sported her confident grin. "What?! How?!" he exclaimed, looking at her in disbelief. Ramona simply turned her gaze toward him, unfazed.
