Simon never had an easy childhood. Every night, he begged for a Guardian Angel or a holy being to save him. To protect him. Nobody ever heard his prayers. Nobody helped when his dad beat him up again. He felt lost. Helpless.

13 years old, and he ran upstairs, afraid. He prayed again as he held the door closed. It wouldn't hold long. He wasn't strong enough to keep his father out.
