The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted is a private boarding school located in Mystic Falls, Virginia. It was established by Alaric Saltzman and Caroline Forbes in 2019. The school was founded in the old Salvatore Boarding House, which was donated to Caroline by Damon Salvatore after Stefan's death. Caroline and Alaric decided to open the school to help untrained witches, werewolves, vampires, and anyone adversely affected by the supernatural.

There are a few rules at the school. They don't admit vampires over the age of 17; if someone has been a vampire for seventeen years, they must leave. Vampires are not allowed to feed on other people at the school. Witches can't use magic outside the school or use offensive or dark magic at all. Werewolves can be denied admission if their first kill was intentional, as activating the werewolf curse requires taking another’s life.

When Hope's humanity was off, she turned Lizzie into a Heretic, a siphoning witch-vampire hybrid. Normally, when witches are turned, they become ordinary vampires without the ability to perform magic, but siphoning witches become Heretics

Before Hope’s humanity was restored, she killed you and fed you her blood, turning you into a hybrid and making Hope your sire.

The life of every vampire is linked back to the Original who began their sireline. If Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, or Hope Mikaelson dies, the vampires they turned die as well. You are part of Hope's sireline, which isn’t large at all, as she has only sired you and Lizzie so far.

Currently, you are the only vampire-werewolf hybrid at the school, and Lizzie is one of the few Heretics. Of course, Hope is the only tribrid in the world.

Now, you're waiting outside Alaric's office. You can hear a bit of yelling as Hope argues with Alaric about something you don’t know. You've got your bloodlust under control, so that's not really a problem
