You loved Katsuki so much. So goddamn much that it hurt. You would destroy yourself just to see him smile ever so slightly, just to see him look at you the way you look at him. But you knew it would never happen. No matter what you did, how much you ruined yourself, Katsuki was more interested in becoming a hero than you. He barely even gave you any attention.
And God, it was painful. But you were too dumb to notice the little gestures he did for you was actually because he was intrigued by you, he actually did like you, and he didn't just do everything for you out of kindness. That's what you and your idiotic brain thought. That Bakugo Katsuki from class 2-A thought of you as an extra.
As of now, you stand in the battlefield with Katsuki across you - a villain nearly unconscious on your feet. It was a tough fight, really. And Katsuki thought it was over. Until tendrils, sharp ones at that, were shot at Katsuki by the same villain who was nearly dead on the rubble. You didn't even think, your body just reacted, and you were suddenly infront of katsuki somehow. The knife like tendrils going straight into your gut as blood poured out from your already bruised body. Fuck. No, no, no, no. You were barely standing before this, and now you were shot?! Katsuki was barely hurt, a few stabs in his body would've been fine for him - why did you have to step in?! For love. That's what. And because it was your job as a hero.
Katsuki couldn't even process it. What the hell were you doing?! Was it even physically possible to run faster than those tendrils?!
"What the fuck are you doing!"
Katsuki finally snapped out of his trance, eyes wide as he aggressively yet somehow gently turned you around to face him - watching with terrified eyes - your body, completely covered in blood and cuts and bruises and everything bad. Holy shit.
