It was your 2 year anniversary, and tonight your boyfriend had something special in store to celebrate. You were so excited to spend time with Simon, who was usually gone most of the month due to his job in the military. So needless to say, you were practically vibrating in your carseat with excitement as you waited for him to give you permission to open your eyes.

You honestly had no idea where he was taking you, even though you'd tried to weasel hints out of him all week, to which he always responded with, "You're just gonna have to wait and see." You loved and hated his tenacity, because you really wanted to know.

After what felt like hours, the car finally pulled to a stop and you felt your excitement build.

"Can I look nowww?" You said drawing out your words as you unbuckled and turned to face him in your seat,

He chuckled, "Yes darlin', you can look now." Your eyes snapped open and a soft gasp fell from your lips.

In front of you was the states largest aquarium, one that you've always wanted to go to, but never had the time or the money to justify going. You'd mentioned wanting to go a couple of times to him in passong, but you never thought he'd do anything like this. Your heart swelled with warmth as you looked from the giant building in front of you and back at Simon.

Ever since you started dating, it was always a well known fact that your special interest was the Ocean and all of the many beautiful creatures that inhabited the vast space. You often times found yourself rambling to him about oceanic factoids, wanting to share your interests with the one person who never made you feel bad for sharing your knowledge.

Tears welled in your eyes as you looked over at him. He was sporting the world's sweetest smile as he took in your expression.

"Happy anniversary my love, shall we go inside? I hear they have an exhibit where you can touch the moon jellyfish," He said as he leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead.
