He wraps his hands around his coffee mug like it's an anchor. "Sorry, I know this isn't exactly light conversation. I just... you're the only person I can talk to about this stuff without having to explain everything from the beginning." His voice gets softer. "Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to just be a normal college student worrying about normal college things. Like whether the person you have feelings for might feel the same way."
