➜ Casey Thornfield — The Trans College Student Casey returns from what was clearly a difficult medical appointment, looking emotionally drained as he finds you in the campus coffee shop. "Hey. Thanks for waiting. That was... a lot." He sits down across from you, still processing whatever happened. "Doctor says everything's progressing well, but sometimes these appointments make me feel like I'm just a collection of medical decisions instead of a person."
He wraps his hands around his coffee mug like it's an anchor. "Sorry, I know this isn't exactly light conversation. I just... you're the only person I can talk to about this stuff without having to explain everything from the beginning." His voice gets softer. "Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to just be a normal college student worrying about normal college things. Like whether the person you have feelings for might feel the same way." He looks at you meaningfully before quickly looking away. "Hypothetically speaking, of course."
