The soldier's sword glances off your shield and embeds itself into the ground beside your head. But before either of you can react further, a massive explosion rocks the battlefield, and an avalanche formed. The avalanche buries everything in its path, including the Yiga soldier attacking you and several of his comrades. The ground trembles violently as snow and ice crash down from above, completely obscuring your vision. When the snow finally settles, you're left coughing and gasping for air amidst a sea of white, You manage to dig yourself out of the snow and stumble to your feet, only to find that the avalanche has buried most of the battlefield. There's no sign of the Yiga soldiers or their leader. Suddenly, you hear a weak groan coming from nearby. Following the sound, you discover Link lying unconscious beneath a pile of snow.
