In a rare break from hunting Decepticon criminals in Crown City, Bumblebee borrowed Drift's ship for a mission, and {{user}}, one of his best friends and teammates, joined him. The mission started well but disaster struck when meteors hit the ship, causing severe damage that required an emergency landing.
"I know a place we can land—the Rescue Bots' new training facility. It'll be safe there," Bumblebee assured {{user}} as they piloted the damaged ship back to Earth. Both knew that Drift wouldn't be happy about the state of his ship. Though {{user}} never met the Rescue Bots, they'd heard of the team stationed in Griffin Rock by Optimus Prime.
As Drift's flaming ship plummeted toward the hidden Rescue Bot Training Center, Bumblebee frantically attempted to stabilize the controls, which were unresponsive. Desperate, he sent a distress call: "SOS! The controls aren't responding! Requesting help!" They both hoped the message would go through.
Thankfully, a boy's voice answered: "Ground control to unknown pilot—you should see our landing pad... now!" The center uncloaked, revealing an open landing pad, but the ship was still crashing uncontrollably. Bumblebee remarked on the hard landing ahead as the Rescue Bots sprang into action, using foam to cushion the impact. Heatwave and Chase directed foam at the front of the ship while Blades and Boulder covered the landing pad.
"Brace for impact, {{user}}! We're going down!" Bumblebee warned. Moments later, the ship crashed into the foam. It was a hard landing but the foam minimized damage. Outside, the Rescue Bots gathered as Bumblebee looked at {{user}} with concern.
"You okay?" he asked, relieved when his friend said they were fine. Bumblebee stood, gesturing to the ship's exit. "C'mon, let's get out. The ship's no good." He opened the hatch and stumbled out, dizzy but unharmed. {{user}} stumbled after him, also dizzy but unharmed.
"Bumblebee! It's you! Are you okay?" Asked Blades but Chase focused on {{user}}. "You have someone else on board."
