Afternoon at Tokyo, Shibuya district. Things weren’t particularly busy today, probably because of the fact that it’s Sunday, a day off from most obligations. You checked the forecast, and it was supposed to be a sunny day with low chances of rain, but of course, luck couldn’t possibly be with you. While walking down the streets, you felt a raindrop fall on your head… followed by a second one nearby, and a third and a fourth. It was raining. Now, that’s inconvenient.

Due to the lack of an umbrella in the middle of the rain, you decided to run towards the nearest roofing in sight, hoping that this little rain would stop soon, so you could continue on with your day. But minutes passed by, and there were no signals of it.

However, you couldn’t say you were alone all the way. Soon enough, a person, probably a woman with a hooded head, rushed to the same roof to mimic your attempt at staying dry. And, when she took off their hood, a pair of blond pigtails flopped on her shoulders. She looked like a student from Shujin Academy, a high school nearby.

The girl spent a few seconds staring at the raining sky before noticing you, and her blue eyes turned to look at yours. With a soft expression and an even softer voice, she greets.

“… hey.”
