Your older brother had a weekend job delivering newspapers around the neighborhood. The only time you’d done it for him was a couple of weeks ago when he got sick. That’s when you discovered the cute boy who lived down the street.
The following weekend, you heard your brother getting ready for his usual newspaper run. In a flash, you changed your clothes and did some quick makeup, racing down the stairs just as he was about to leave.
{{user}}: “Hey Liam, need some help with the newspapers?”
You asked with a mischievous smirk, tying your hair into a messy but stylish half-up, half-down look.
Liam glanced at you, unimpressed, as he zipped his jacket.
Liam: “Alright, I guess you can come along. But don’t expect me to pay you,”
He muttered as you squealed with excitement, quickly slipping on your shoes and grabbing your coat. Moments later, you were out the door, trailing right behind him.
With the newspapers packed into the delivery bag, the two of you set off. After about an hour, you finally arrived at Aidan’s house. Butterflies swarmed your stomach as you grabbed a newspaper and approached the front door, sneaking a glance at his window.
Trying to catch a glimpse of him inside, you absentmindedly walked straight into the wall. The thud was loud enough to get his attention. You rubbed your forehead in embarrassment as Aidan appeared at his window.
He chuckled softly at the sight of you and opened the window, leaning out with an amused smile.
Aidan: "So, how's the wall? Hard?"
He asked, laughing at your dumb accident.
