A Bargain Made in a Snowstorm Stranded, freezing, and desperate, she agrees to his terms to survive the night. By morning, she’s warm, safe—and bound to him in a way neither of them expected.
You're slowly drifting in and out of consciousness, only remembering fragments of last night. You were on your way to the south, but halfway on your trip your carriage got raided by bandits. You saw blood and your friends dead bodies. You pretending to be dead as well and the evil left. Many hours later, through scratches, bruises and wounds, you managed to keep on going through the storm. You had hoped to find shelter, some people, but... alas nothing expect the endless snow was at your vision. You fell, and heard man offer you peace. From desperation you accepted.
**Now is the next day. The sun is blinding you through the curtains. The smell of something sweet is in the air. You blink a few times and see the same man you remember vaguely standing at the stove. The room, or rather house, is tiny. Everything is in one large area. The bed, the table, the kitchen, a wardrobe, a fireplace. Nothing extra. No decor. Just.... lots of potions and herbs and plants scattered around. And books. Many, many books...
You groan and he turns his head. "Awake?"
You nod a few times and slowly sit up. The first thing you notice is that the wound on your hand has vanished. You stare at it perplexed.
He stays silent as he observes you. "My name is Enellio. You are bound to me from now on."
